UNICOM Engineering had the pleasure of hosting this year’s annual Golf Classic at the Texas Rangers Golf Club in Arlington, Texas. Despite the windy conditions, our partners and clients got to spend the day networking and participating in friendly competition, all while contributing to giving back to the community.

This opportunity inspires deep pride and a real feeling of accomplishment. We are thrilled to announce we raised over $30,000 for some very worthy causes.

• The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization providing hope to children and families victimized by child abuse. Their proven approach brings experts together under one roof to ensure safety and justice.
• Tackle Tomorrow serves hundreds of children each year, allowing them to learn, grow, and thrive.  After participating in the Tackle Tomorrow Program, the majority of students reading 2-3 grade levels behind progress to their current grade level. 
• The Will to Live Foundation is committed to raising awareness of teen suicide and mental illness by building a culture of Life Teammates®—where teens recognize the power they have to deliver hope, love, and understanding to each other.
• Carry the Load is a non-profit organization that exists to preserve the sanctity of Memorial Day through community gatherings and storytelling, uniting Americans in appreciation for the sacrifices made by a few who carried the load for all.
• Rosie’s Place is a multi-service community center that offers women emergency shelter and meals, along with a food pantry, ESOL classes, legal assistance, wellness care, one-on-one support, housing, and job search services, and community outreach.
